DESCRIPTION:Energy Safety Canada- H2S Alive \nThe aim of this course is to provide all Petroleum Industry workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) emergencies. \nPROGRAM CONTENT\nAreas of study will include the following: \n\nH2S properties; initial response strategy\nRespiratory Protective Equipment\nDetection of H2S\nRescue Techniques\nCase Studies\n\nPractical training will be conducted in the following subjects: \n\nSelf-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)\nSupplied Air Breathing Apparatus (on request)\nGas Detection\nRescue Techniques\n\nDURATION \nEight (8) hours.
