DESCRIPTION:Formerly OFA 3 This comprehensive 10-day course is for advanced first aid training \nSuccessful completion requires 100% attendance\, demonstrations of critical skills and a 70% pass mark on the written and practical exams. Please note these courses are physically demanding and will require prolonged kneeling\, working in stooped positions\, and rolling patients. Each class participant is required to function as attendant\, helper and patient. Depending on the level and length of the course\, these physical demands can become rigorous. Participants will be required to demonstrate specific skills according to an accepted standard before certification is issued.

This is a 16 hours face to face heavily based on new protocols and skills assessment. \nCovers: \n\nAdministration of Intra-Muscular Epinephrin protocol\nAdministration of Nebulize Salbutamol protocol\nAdministration of Glucagon protocol\nWound packing and management\n\n  \nPre-requisite: EMR certificate or license. \nThis certification is acknowledged by BCEMALB as proof that the holder has completed Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 requirements.
